Welcome to my website! I'm Alice - aka Mayshe-Mayshe.
I'm an independent dream-pop artist from Yorkshire in the UK.
I write dreamy lofi electro pop songs about nature, imaginary worlds, my glitchy brain & lots of other things.
I am really truly enthusiastic about the DIY approach to making music. Art is often at its best when it comes direct & unfiltered from the artist! So I write, record, produce & self-release all my music.
Other things I love include moss, moomins, making art, eating pancakes, reading fantasy books, swimming in waterfalls & drinking coffee.

Mayshe-Mayshe is the solo project of UK songwriter, producer & artist Alice Rowan. Her music blends dreamy electro-pop with rich storytelling, skittering percussion and infectious melodies. Her deceptively simple songwriting incorporates choral vocals, vintage synths and the occasional hairdryer.
Mayshe-Mayshe writes, records and produces her work from her home studio in Yorkshire.
